Fit Missions opened opposite the park in Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District in September 2016 and has quickly built a reputation as a welcoming fitness hub where training is actually FUN, and the coaching team supports you 100% whatever your goals. CROSSFIT

We are so excited to introduce CrossFit classes to Fit Missions. Coaches Stew, Chud, Tom and Lucy all have a background in CrossFit (training and competing) and we have never found a more engaging or fun way to train. The best news: CrossFit really does get results.  

CrossFit classes happen every evening from 5pm to 8pm with a 6am class starting soon. Class sizes are capped at 15 so you get plenty of attention, and your fitness will start to soar within weeks of joining. Your CrossFit coach will take you through a constantly varied programme of strength exercises using barbells or dumbbells, followed by some technique work and a high intensity WOD (Workout of the Day) to get your heart rate up and work your cardiovascular system.

We also run 30 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes called FM:30 every morning at 7am, 9am and 9.30am, and a lunchtime session at 12.30pm if you want to get fit in a hurry!

SPIN

Members love our Spin classes which take place in our Dark Room, where no one can see you sweat! Bring a towel and some water for a 45 minute class packed with energy as Tom, Chud, Stew or Lucy takes you through a series of sprints, hill climbs and intervals to get your fitness through the roof. With our Star Trac bikes and monster playlists, we recommend booking early as these seats fill up fast!

YOGA

When you're training hard (like you will do in our Fit Missions classes!) looking after your mind and muscles is incredibly important. Our yoga classes, which are a combination of Hatha and Yin Yoga, will give you a chance to stretch, improve your mobility (which will help you perform better in all other aspects of training), and recharge with some mindfulness. Roberta's years of experience will help you to become lean, strong and supple. 

PERSONAL TRAINING

If you want 1-1 attention and pure focus on your goals - whether they be weight loss, toning, competition prep, young athlete training or building confidence - Fit Missions offers personal training to get you the best results whilst keeping that smile on your face. Our Coaching Team have backgrounds in CrossFit, rugby, running, dance, Olympic lifting, and the British Armed Forces recruitment process, so get in touch to discuss your needs.

THE FUEL BAR

It isn't just about training hard and having fun: nutrition is a big part of getting results, and that's why we have our in-house Fuel Bar. Choose from our Hulk Smash and Purple Rain classic smoothies to a U.G.L.Y (it ain't got no alibi - it's pure green health in a glass), a protein shake or a freshly made soup for a healthy lunch. We also run seasonal 'detoxes' which are short, sharp blasts of guided nutrition to get you back on track to ticking off as many of your goals as possible.

 

 

FIT MISSIONS FIGHT CLUB

We always push the boundaries for value and quality of service in the Peak District, and so we are delighted with the addition of FIT MISSIONS FIGHT CLUB to our 2017 class programme. Included in both our Unlimited (just £60 per month) and Young Athlete (just £45 per month) memberships, FIGHT CLUB promises to take your jabs and turn them into power punches. Refunds, Returns and Cancellations

We offer an exchange policy where sessions can be cancelled and exchanged for an alternative service at least 24 hours before the original service is due to take place. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of their start time will be charged in full.
